The Duchess of Cambridge celebrated St Patrick's Day by dressing in green to present members of the Irish Guards with shamrock.
Kate undertook her first solo military engagement with a traditional royal visit to the Irish Guards on St. Patrick's Day.
She handed out sprigs of shamrock to members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards in Aldershot, Hampshire, on Saturday.
The 450 soldiers paraded in full ceremonial uniform of scarlet tunics and bearskins before she gave out the shamrock, which is the floral symbol of Ireland.
